Greetings good gentles of Artemisia. We would like to invite you all to journey to the northern lands of Crystal Crags as we embrace the end of the summer season and look forward to the coming winter. Come celebrate the reaping of the harvests as we revel through the night.
Crystal Crags is a land of diverse peoples, ranging over a large landscape. We come together to celebrate as warriors of old and in remembrance of those that have passed on. One such event is held every five years. It is the Quest for the Spear. This quest was started in memory of Sir Elider (Ely) of Silveroak (mda John Lawler). This first champion of the spear quest was won by Sir Brynjolf. The second champion was Lord Grimulr Halftroll. It is now time for the quest to begin anew. Lord Grimulfr, as the current Keeper of the Spear had proposed at BB XXV, that the feats of arms proposed are armored combat, archery, thrown weapons, rapier, and spear vs spear combat. Points tallied from the five events will reveal the new Champion of the Spear.

We do enjoy a good brawl and as such, have a Crystal Crags’ Armored Champion. This champion is recognized by the prior winner in feats of martial combat. This was won by Sir Uggadai and he will preside over the competition to recognize the newest Champion of Crystal Crags. By winning and accepting the mantle, one vows to return the following year and to bear the Axe of Crystal Crags with honor for the ensuing year.

While we have long winter months to contemplate life around us, there are many that have excelled in the arts and sciences of olde. It is with this drive for recreating and exploring that our MoAS Lady Maire Ferch Puw and the current Champion, Lord Biorn Smidr do encourage you to bring your creations and documentation to Barbarian Bash to compete for both our Novice and Champion categories.
We welcome all merchants that wish to come and enjoy our hospitality.
