Spring is nearly here! Oh, glorious spring! The daylight is getting longer, and we eagerly await the arrival and the warmth of spring! The Barony of One Thousand Eyes bids you to come and join us at Baronial Champions Event, on Saturday, March19, 2022. Many championships are to be held this day! Come one, come all!
The festivities will be held at the I.F. Skyline Activity Center. Address is 1575 N. Skyline Dr. Idaho Falls, ID 83402. Site opens at 10:00 am and closes at 9:00 pm.
Our Baron’s Champion for the upcoming year will be decided by an Arts & Sciences Competition. The competition will be run by HE Helena Boccardi (Amber Keller), MoAS, our 2020 A&S Champion. Minimum entry is two items with simple documentation. Site is damp, so brewing entries will be allowed for the Arts and Sciences competition. Space will also be available for display of items, if a person does not wish to enter the competition, yet display their handiwork.
There will be a rapier tournament to choose our new Baronial Rapier Champion and the Captain of Her Excellency’s Musketeers.
There will be a Heavy tournament to choose our new Baroness’ Champion! Baroness Amber asks each of the entrants vying for this championship for an additional entry, to be decided at her whim, and will be updating this announcement with her challenge! Stay tuned to our baronial missives!

From the south or north from I-15, take I-15 to Exit 119. Go West on Grandview ¼ mile. Turn Right (N) on Skyline for about 0.1 mile. Brick building is on the left side of road.
Although the SCA complies with all applicable laws to ensure the health and safety of our event participants, we cannot eliminate the risk of exposure to infectious diseases during in-person events. By participating in the in-person events of the SCA, you acknowledge and accept the potential risks. You agree to take any additional steps to protect your own health and safety and those under your control as you believe to be necessary.
All SCA policy will be observed as it stands at the time of the event. This will include any active requirement to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test administered within 72 hours of the event. Those who are not able to comply with SCA policy will not be allowed entrance to the site.
