Greetings unto the populace of our Great Kingdom of Artemisia!
The Gates of Bronzehelm are opened once more; the threat of the pestilence has receded and with it, whispers have come that the Wastelands are in danger of falling into lawlessness and perhaps, foreign aggression! Please come and join the Barony of Bronzehelm as we celebrate summer and continue to show Artemisia’s strength as we reassert the Kingdom’s sovereignty over the eastern Wastes.
These long weary months are over, NOW! Dust off your gear and bring your best efforts to competitions of strength and will: Bronzehelm’s Baronial Archery and Thrown Weapons Tourneys will be held, and Their Excellencies, Killian and Penelope look forward to meeting their next Champions!
Armored and Rapier: HL Lyon MacKeegan will be hosting a rapier tourney and Lord Wulfgar Banner-bearer will welcome any and all armored fighters for melees and pick-ups.
Arts & Sciences: In-person classes are back! Have a class to teach? Or are you wanting to learn a new skill? Come and enjoy an afternoon of learning with friends. Mistress Shauna will be setting up a Heralds Point for those who want to work on their names or devices.
Equestrian: Equestrian activities are making their return debut!
The Viking Pentathlon! Long a Bronzehelm summer staple, the pentathlon is open to participants of all ages; where else can you toss a wench, or be graded on your belch?
B.Y.O.F. -Bring Your Own Feast: due to current Health and Safety guidance, a traditional feast is out for this year. However, Their Excellencies encourage the populace to bring their feast with them so they participate in a “Best Feast Table” contest. For those who wish to dine off-site, many restaurants are only a short drive a way.
If all of this sounds great, there is more! After the Viking Pentathlon, the evening continues with a bardic circle; so, bring your drums, your best belly-dancing shimmy and any songs you want to share!
