To all good gentles, nobles, most excellent of Excellencies, revered Royal Highnesses, and beloved of Royal Majesties. Harken to a tale of a festival the like that only occurs once a mid-summer along our good King’s Road.

The tale, or so this humble bard has heard tell, centers around a wonderfully festive event, that each year appears at a location only the stars and seers seem to portend.

It is also heard tell that this coming summer the location promises to be a breathtakingly beautiful place, where there will be bountiful camping. There will also be tournaments to test the prowess of our kingdom’s archers and thrown weapons enthusiasts alike. Great tournaments and scenarios for armored combatants and rapier combatants sure to test our fighter’s metal. Their Royal Majesties may even select their bardic champion at this idyllic site. It is also said that there will be art displays of skill and beauty to move one to tears. Rumor has it that there is a night of dancing and family games to delight and entertain the masses.

One might even if they listen closely enough; hear strange melodic chanting throughout the lands, beckoning one to set foot to path and to travel along the King’s Road to the far northeast to the Barony of Bronzehelm, the Bright Eastern Star of Artemisia. For the stars have spoken that this summer King’s Road will find new life having bloomed in these once conquested wastelands.
