After 36 Years (more or less) The Ramp of Despair is still
giggling at you! The Staircase of Doom continues to give
you the finger behind your back! Come help us celebrate
yet another Loch Salann Melee Madness!! This unique & ancient event
will occur on June 1st & 2nd 2019, at its equally unique, incredibly ancient
and honorable site at the castle in back of the Utah State Hospital in Provo,
Utah. Fighting, archery, thrown weapons, relaxing in the sun – what more
could you want? Come on out! Join the crowd! Enjoy the day! Opening


Blow the horns and let the trumpets call, shout it and wide
and listen all Daring and Dutiful Fighters and Artisan's of
the Barony - Your New Baron and Baroness have need of
your skills. This past year our Champions have defended us but now are
growing weary. The Great Demon Decapod is once again threatening our
shores, challenging the might of our warriors and artisans and the resolve
of our Baron and Baroness. The time has come to find the New Defenders
of the Great Brine Shrimp and to recognize their Shrimp Bait on both the

Melee Madness SAVE THE DATE! (Unofficial Event)

Utah State Hospital, 1300 E. Center St., Provo, UT. While the site
will officially OPEN at 8:00 am on Saturday and CLOSE at 10:00 pm on
Sunday, we will be allowed to set up tents Friday afternoon after 5:30 pm.
Unless told otherwise, camping will only be allowed on the field in front
of the castle. If you plan to camp overnight, please contact the Activity
Steward beforehand.

Site fees:
are very welcome, to help defray costs. Make checks
payable to "SCA Inc., Barony of Loch Salann".
