Help Wanted

The warrant for Kingdom Youth Minister and Kingdom Youth Combat Marshall will expire in October.

Letters of intent for each office will open until June 30, 2018. An officer will be chosen by July 20, 2018 and the new officer will have August and September to train with the current officer until her warrant expires October 1, 2018 and new warrants can be produced. Though these are two very different offices, they overlap considerably. Maintaining an open and active level of communication with each other as well as your kingdom/society superiors and managing deputies around the kingdom is a must. Telephone and reliable internet access is mandatory. Monthly reports will be expected. You will also be expected to produce an annual "Doomsday" report as a yearly summary. Warrants are active for 2 years from their initiation, and may be extended annually after first expiration upon approval.

... Maintain communication with local/regional deputies on current activities
... Inspire continued youth involvement by assisting local/regional deputies in activity creation, acquiring resources, communication with Kingdom Financial Committee on financial needs, researching period and engaging activities for a variety of ages and skill levels
... Maintain communication with Kingdom/Society superiors through monthly reports and additional updates as needed
... Encourage parent/guardian involvement and continue growth in members prepared with background checks that may assist and conduct activities locally and regionally
... Assisting with warrant preparation for those interested in becoming warranted youth officers on a local level
... Read and understand kingdom law in regards to this officer and any additional requirements and expectations (https://www.artemisia.sca.org/library) and inquire with any questions or concerns they may have

Kingdom Youth Combat Marshal will...
... Maintain communication with local/regional deputies on current activities

Inspire continued youth involvement in local/regional youth marshal activities by providing access to youth combat rules and regulations, resources and equipment instructions, working with Kingdom Financial Committee on financial needs, and researching period and engaging activities for a variety of ages and skill levels
... Maintain communication with Kingdom/Society superiors through monthly reports and additional updates as needed
... Encourage parent/guardian involvement and continue growth in members prepared with background checks that may assist and conduct activities locally and regionally
